Jim received a Bachelors Degree in Jazz Guitar Performance from The University of New Hampshire in 2004.  During his time at the university he studied under the tutelage of guitar guru, David Newsam.
Since graduating Jim has made his presence well known on the vibrant seacoast Jazz scene. He performs regularly with The Jim Dozet Trio, at various venues across the Seacoast.
